Tremor
Tremor is an involuntary, rhythmic shaking caused by muscle contractions, often affecting the hands, head, voice, or limbs. Essential tremor is a neurological disorder that worsens with movement. Causes include brain dysfunction, metabolic issues, or toxins .

Dementia
Dementia is a progressive condition marked by declining memory, thinking, and daily functioning—most common in older adults but not a normal part of aging. Expert care includes diagnosis, support, and treatment tailored to each stage, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Sciatica / Radiculopathy

Movement Disorders
Movement disorders are neurological conditions causing abnormal voluntary or involuntary movements, either excessive or reduced, without muscle weakness. The first symptoms often are involuntary movements (tics), most commonly of the face, followed by the arms, legs or trunk.

Brain Hemorrhage
A brain hemorrhage is caused by an artery in the brain bursting and causing localized bleeding in the surrounding tissues. This bleeding kills brain cells. The Greek root for blood is hemo. Hemorrhage literally means “blood bursting forth.” . They account for about 13% of strokes.

Vertigo
Vertigo is the feeling that you or your environment is moving or spinning. It differs from dizziness in that vertigo describes an illusion of movement. When you feel as if you yourself are moving, it’s called subjective vertigo, and the perception that your surroundings are moving is called objective vertigo.

Dystonia
Dystonia is a movement disorder causing involuntary muscle contractions, leading to twisting, cramps, or abnormal postures. It can affect a single muscle or the whole body. Though often painful curled toes or foot cramps, it’s rarely fatal and doesn’t shorten life expectancy.

Sleep Disorders
**Sleep disorders** disrupt normal sleep, causing issues like insomnia, sleep apnea, or restless legs syndrome. They may result from stress, medical or neurological problems, and lead to fatigue, poor focus, and daytime sleepiness. Treatment includes sleep hygiene, therapy, medications, or devices.

2000+ Successful Surgeries
There are some very difficult times in the lives of everyone of us and perhaps one of the most complicated is when our health is compromised and require surgery. Health is one of the most precious things we have in life and we should take care of it, however no one is exempt from illness. If a neurologist has gone into a subspecialty of neurology, elements of the day will differ from one physician to the next. But in all cases, the job is solving what’s happening inside the brains of their patients. An ultimate diagnosis determines treatment and prognosis. In some cases, the appointment results in a referral to a neurosurgeon or other specialized doctor.
